About Me.

I grew up in Austin Texas spending most of my time outdoors on week long backpacking and canoeing trips. I had many passions growing up, I was a competitive gymnast, got my black belt in Kung Fu, raised baby squirrels, took painting and dance classes, and took lots of pictures.

I started a digital youth culture magazine at fourteen years old, and ever since then I’ve had a passion for brand storytelling and content creation. As a teenage girl who loved magazines but saw a disappointing lack of meaningful content for young women, I decided to start my own youth-led magazine. I collaborated with a team of five other teenagers, organized photoshoots, communicated with content creators, and managed the magazine’s website and social media accounts. Through this experience I developed my love for digital storytelling and content creation and decided to pursue a career in creative marketing.

Very awkward photo for proof of black belt status 😋

After driving my Kia Soul 1,377 miles from Austin, Texas to Los Angeles, California, I completed my degree in Marketing at Loyola Marymount University. My degree focused on A-List, an educational pathway that prepares students to understand diverse consumer cultures and create inclusive societal change through marketing. I took classes on socially-conscious, anti-stereotypical marketing, building brand through culture, and brand management, to name a few. During this time I worked with startup companies to help them launch products, reach new audiences, hone their messaging, and grow their brand.

Now I help startups, small businesses, and nonprofits effectively communicate their unique story and offerings to the right customers. I’ve worked with these companies to create multi-channel campaigns, newsletters, podcasts, events, and so much more. Though the online space is competitive and saturated, small companies can stand out through creative strategy and authentic messaging, and I can help!
